Tell me if this sounds familiar. You finished your UX Bootcamp with high hopes but now you're stuck without a UX job.
You've applied to over 100 positions but haven't had much luck. Recruiters have been ghosting you, saying they need someone with more experience.

You cannot get why you are not hitting the mark.

Can it get any worse? It's frustrating, and you can't help but wonder if something's wrong with you.
But let's picture a different scenario.
Imagine waking up one day, making yourself some coffee and checking your Gmail.
Boom! There it is! The email you've been waiting for! You've been offered a job as a UX Designer!
How amazing would that feel? You'd quickly update your LinkedIn to proudly show off your new title and share the good news with everyone.
Getting paid to do UX sounds like a dream come true. All the effort you put into switching careers would finally pay off and it'd be a moment worth celebrating.
So, how do you get there?
Job hunting is tough. UX Designers miss out on opportunities because they don’t have an understanding of what recruiters expect from them.
It's crucial to have a great portfolio, resume, and LinkedIn profile that really show your skills and value. Having a smart strategy when applying is key. Companies look for specific profiles and we have to tailor our applications to them.
There's nothing wrong with you. Nobody teaches us how to navigate the job search game. I've been through it too, going from studying English Literature to chasing a career in UX.
I faced rejection, failed interviews and had a a not very good portfolio. I spent hours, days, and months on my portfolio, trying to redesign it every time I got rejected by my dream companies. I read books and articles, I took courses and I asked for advice. I would watch every youtube video on how to be better, and learn more about the UX world. I was just so lost with the biggest information overload.
Then I started I shifted my mindset. I didn’t want to give up on my dream. I polished my strategy, focused on my strengths and made every application count. I started nailing my UX job search process.
And that's how I landed my first job as a Junior UX Designer at Christie's, the world’s leading auction house.
Christie’s offices in London
So, how do you get there?
And you know what? The journey didn't end there. I later scored a spot with the King franchise, which is part of Activision Blizzard. Yep, the Candy Crush folks.
The interview process was tough with a lot of competition and with a major design task but I made it! Just after 2 years into UX, I started working there, unbelievable. I felt like the boss of the UX job search by achieving this position.
Your dream of being a successful UX Designer isn't out of reach.
You don’t have to do it all alone. You don’t have to feel desperate and stressed like I was. Chasing everything all at once. This course will guide you through the whole process so you can gain confidence and insight into what companies want.
